EXPLORE DESIGN.
WE LOVE WORKING WITH PEOPLE & PRIDE OURSELVES ON PROVIDING A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE IN TRANSFORMING THEIR SURROUNDINGS

This unique renovation project of an existing low set cavity brick home perched high on the block created a distinctive architecture approach of extending and transforming to the front of the block
The block of land had a 3.5-meter slope from back to front and unused land at the front. This created an opportunity to make the best use of the typography and carve into the land. The design flipped the notion of entertaining areas to be out the back but to be on show at the front of the house. A double garage with ample storage created a new base for the house and a new formal entrance. An alfresco 2-story void entrance with tiered planters next to the new front stairs provided plenty of natural light from the open air sides of the entrance void.
The brief for the front extension was to create a new entertainment and leisure retreat. An outdoor bar/bbq and outdoor dining area were added on top of the new garage extension. With vacant land to the front right of the property, a new desirable pool was designed with plenty of new landscape areas around the perimeter, an outdoor shower, and feature stone wall. A beautiful internal renovation was designed to update the current bathrooms and bedrooms, reorientating the living and kitchen and implementing new sliding glass doors to increase connection towards the outdoor dining and pool area. The renovation utilises modern aluminum timber-look battens, natural stone cladding, tiles, benches, and clean white border elements to tie and frame the modern facade and hide the existing brick house facade.
Another excellent referral client who was a delight to work with was detail-oriented and about getting the best possible result.
